3 or 4 links of Italian sausage, I prefer not to use hot sausage, takes away flavor, in my opinion...
32 oz. box of reduced sodium chicken broth...
3 large potatoes...
1 pound of kale...
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat medium stockpot on medium, cut sausage into 1/2 inch pieces, cook 5 minutes or until golden brown in stockpot...
Cut potatoes into bite size pieces while sausage is cooking..
Stir in broth and potatoes into stockpot with sausage, reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender...
Cut kale into large pieces, stir into stockpot when potatoes are just tender and continue to cook for 12 more minutes or until kale is tender...

I serve this as a hearty soup with crusty bread...
Cold beer is good, too...
When purchasing kale, store in coldest part of frige and use within 2 days...
Kale is super good for you...
I add hot sauce to my kale soup, so good!
