2 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup each: chopped carrots, celery and onions
1 can tomatoes with green chilies, chopped
3 cans black beans, not drained
1/4 cup dry cooking sherry
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon hot-n-spicy seasoning (See below)

Hot-N-Spicy Seasoning
1/4 cup paprika
2 tablespoons oregano (crushed)
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red (cayenne) pepper
1/2teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add carrots, celery and onions. Cook on low heat about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add rest of ingredients. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Hot-N-Spicy Seasoning
Mix and store in airtight container.
