1 large box lasagna noodles
2 large cartons cottage cheese
4 eggs
Sliced mozzarella cheese (1/4” thick)
MEAT SAUCE
3 pounds ground chuck
1 large onion
2 square boxes fresh mushrooms
2 large jars of Homestyle spaghetti sauce
Butter (to saute mushrooms)
Salt
Pepper
Basil
Oregano
Bay leaves

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat and onions. Pour off drippings. Salt and pepper to taste. In another skillet, saute the mushrooms in butter. Add spaghetti sauce to meat and onions. Add basil, oregano, bay leaves, salt and pepper.
Stir and simmer for 40-45 minutes. Add mushrooms the last 15 minutes. Remove bay leaves.
Cook noodles in water, oil and salt. About 5 minutes before using, drain and rinse in hot water. Grease pans you plan to use (2 oblong) and layer as follows:
Meat sauce
Noodles
Cottage cheese and eggs, mixed together
Mozzarella (real heavy mixture)
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes or until browning and bubbling
