1 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 325º

Cream butter and sugar; add water and vanilla; mix well.
Add flour and pecans
Chill 3 or 4 hours. Using about 1 tablespoon of dough, shape in balls or fingers.
Bake on un-greased cookie sheet in slow oven (325º) about 20 minutes.
Cool slightly; roll in confectioners' sugar.
