Potatoes
Carrots

Directions:
6AM flour and brown 4-5 lb. roast on top of stove in pan you are using to cook in oven. After browned place in oven at 350º. Peel potatoes and carrots. As many as you want and the pan can hold. Place peeled vegetables under roast and turn oven to 200º while you go to church. You may want to add some water to the roast if there is not much fat on it. Just enough water to keep from burning. Should be perfect for with lovely drippings for gravy when you return from church as long as the preacher didn't go too long!

Personal Notes:
Making the Sunday morning trip to The Church of the Brethren is one of our best childhood memories. Singing camp songs in the car as we went. Coming home to Roast Sunday Dinner made it a perfect day every week.
