2 ½ c. flour
1 cup lard
8 to 10 apples (peeled and sliced)
2 handfuls of rice krispies or corn flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 egg yolk with enough milk to make 2/3 cup
1 egg white (for top)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Roll ½ dough to fill 10 ½ and 15 ½ pan
Sprinkle crust with corn flakes
Spread with apples, sugar and cinnamon
Top with other ½ dough
Brush crust with egg while beaten stiff
Bake at 400⁰for 60 minutes

FROSTING:
2 tsp. water, 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla
Drizzle frosting over warm crust
