1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 egg
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoons double acting baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/4 cup coarsely chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. In medium bowl blend butter (or margarine), softened, with sugar; add the egg (beaten) and beat mixture until smooth. In another bowl sift together flour, baking powder, salt and soda. Add to the creamed mixture all at once, mixing with a spoon just until all flour is moistened.
Fold in mashed bananas, sour cream, nuts and cranberries (either fresh or frozen) Pour batter into greased 9x5x3 loaf pan. Bake 65-70 minutes
