1 quart (1 pound) Strawberries
1 Orange
1 Jar (11.75 - 15.5 ounce) strawberry ice cream topping
Pound cake slices, vanilla ice cream or brownies (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Hull strawberries and slice into quarters. Zest orange to measure 1 tablespoon zest. Juice orange to measure 1 tablespoon juice. In saucepan combine zest, juice and ice cream topping. Heat over medium heat 5 minutes or until mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Add strawberries to ice cream topping mixture, stir gently. Serve topping immediately over pound cake, ice cream or brownies. Topping can be made up to 3 hours before serving. Cover and refrigerate. When ready to serve, heat topping just until warm.
Yield about 3 cups.
