8 large potatoes
7 hard boiled eggs
2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese

For sauce:
1 1/2 stick butter or margarine
3 cups milk
6 Tbsp flour
salt and pepper to taste
onion powder if desired

cornflake crumbs for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Cook potatoes with peel until fork-tender. Cool and peel.
Boil 7 eggs. Cool and peel.
Slice potatoes and eggs. Layer with grated cheese in casserole dish.

Cook butter with milk, flour and seasonings. Stir until it thickens slightly. Pour over eggs, potatoes and cheese. Cover and bake at 325-350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and brown, about 10 minutes more.
