Cinnamon Apples Recipe

12 Red Delicious Apples
6 to 8 oz. cinnamon red hot candies

Directions:
Directions:
Peel apples and cut in quarters and then cut each quarter in half.
Place in large pan.
Place about 1/4 c. water over apples.
Pour cinnamon candies in and stir. Put lid on.
Turn on stove to medium. When it comes to a boil, turn heat down.
Boil until apples are tender and candies are all melted.
Cool at room temperature then put in refrigerator until cold.
Will keep for several day.

You can use as many apples as you want. Remember they cook down.
I never measure the candies or the water so this is a guess.
If you want the apples to be a little redder, add a little red food coloring.
