Ingredients:  
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, vanilla and milk. Beat in flour and salt.
Chill dough for several hours.
Roll out to desired thickness. Use cookie cutter of your choice.
Bake at 375 º for about 10 minutes.
Cool and frost.

Frosting
1 # powdered sugar
4 T. butter, softened
1 tsp. almond extract or vanilla extract
Add enough milk to make frosting spreadable.
Can add food coloring if desired.
Beat all ingredients.
Frosts cookies and store in tight container.

Won't roll out of shape. If not frosting, sprinkle with colored sugar before baking.
