Ingredients: -------------------------------------------------Cake------------------------------------------------ 4 large eggs 1 1/2 cups white sugar 1 cup oil 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 cups fresh pumpkin puree or 1 can 2 cups flour 1 tbsp cinnamon 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp clove 1 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp nutmeg ------------------------------------------Frosting--------------------------------------------------- 2 pkg softened cream cheese *Philadelphia is worth the extra cost! 1 stick softened butter 3-4 cups powdered sugar 1/4 cup maple syrup 1 tsp cinnamon splash of vanilla

Directions:Pre heat over to 425º F. Whisk wet ingredients together thoroughly. In a separate bowl combine dry ingredients, sifting if time/patience allows. Slowly combine dry mixture with wet. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 15 x 10 pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes until tooth pick comes out clean. Remove from oven and rest on a baking rack till cool. *set out cream cheese and butter to begin softening.* Once cake is cool, whip butter and cream cheese till fluffy. Add in vanilla and syrup, then slowly incorporate sugar and cinnamon. Apply to cake as desired. Makes enough for one cake plus extra. Refrigerate or freeze remainder.
