2 C Sugar
1 C Shortening
4 Eggs
2 t Vanilla
2 t Butter Flavoring
1 C Buttermilk
3 C Flour
1/2 t Baking Soda
1 t Salt
1 pkg German Chocolate, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 300º

Cream sugar & shortening. Add eggs, flavorings & buttermilk. In a separate
bowl, sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to sugar/egg mixture and blend well. Add melted chocolate and blend well.

Cook cake in a 9" tube or bundt pan for about 1-1/2 hours. Place cake under tight fitting cake cover while hot. Leave cover on until cake is cold to make a crusty top.
