1 Dz. Eggs
2 T Sugar
1 t Pickling Spice
1 t Salt
2 C Vinegar
1 C Water
1 Pod Chopped Garlic

Directions:
Directions:
Place eggs in large pot, cover with water and bring to a gentle boil. Cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, drain hot water and cover with cold water to cool. Peel eggs when cool and place in a gallon jar.

Combine all ingredients except garlic in a medium sauce pan. Heat until thoroughly mixed. Pour over eggs and add garlic. Refrigerate for several days before eating.

Think weekends or weeks on the river again. Seems like we always had these around. I guess they were a good snack with the keg of beer that was always on hand.
