Crust:
20 vanilla wafers
1/4 cup butter

Filling:
1/4 C butter
1/3 C lemon juice
3/4 C sugar
dash salt
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 pt. vanilla ice cream

Directions:

Crust:
Crumble vanilla wafers, mix w/ melted butter. Bake in pie shell 8 minutes at 350º.

Filling:
Melt butter, stir in lemon juice, sugar & salt. Stir to dissolve. Pour half into slightly beaten eggs. Return eggs to rest of butter mixture - whisk over heat until thick. Chill.

Divide ice cream in half. Put half into crust. Pour half lemon mixture over. Freeze. Repeat layers. Freeze.
