2/3 cup bread crumbs
1 cup milk
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup grated onion
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp sage or marjoram
3 T brown sugar
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Soak the bread crumbs in milk for 20 minutes. Add beef, eggs, onion, salt, pepper and sage and blend well. Turn into a greased loaf pan. Combine remaining ingredients for a sauce. Pour over loaf. Bake at 350º for one hour.
