1 cup flour
1/2 cup margarine
1/4 cup icing sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 cup mashed strawberries
1 T cornstarch
4 T sugar
fresh strawberries
Directions:
Directions:
Combine four, margarine and icing sugar. Pat into greased pizza pan up onto sides. Bake at 325º for 15 minutes. Beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla and lemon juice until fluffy. Spread on cooled pastry. Combine mashed strawberries, cornstarch and 4 T sugar in saucepan. Cook until thickened. Cool. Spread on cheese layer. Garnish with fresh strawberries. May also garnish with whipped cream or add a whipped cream layer.
