3T Butter
1 1/2 lbs Asparagus
1/4t Salt
1/4t Pepper - freshly ground
1/4C Parmesan Cheese - freshly ground
2 Lemons - cut into wedges

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, cook butter over medium heat for 2 or 3 minutes or until brown, swirling frequently. Pour into a small bowl and skim off the foam. Carefully pour off the liquid into another small bowl - leaving the solids behind.
2. In a large frypan, bring enough water to cover the asparagus to a boil. Add asparagus and cook for 1 minute.
3. Drain asparagus and place asparagus into a 13" x 9" shallow baking dish, drizzle with browned butter, sprinkle with salt, pepper and parmesan cheese.
4. Bake at 375º for 6 to 10 minutes until bubbling.
5. Serve hot with lemon wedges.

Cooked this with Sharon and Wayne, Carolyn and Glen April 9, 07. Excellent. Made this again for Jan and I Sept 7, 2018 - it was excellent again. I noticed that If I have a reasonable amount of time to prepare the dinner - I have time to follow the recipe more closely. If you follow the instructions, and ingredients closely it turns out great.
