1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 egg
2 T milk
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Mix together ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cooking sheet.
Bake at 350º for 10 minutes or until lightly brown

Ice with snow peak icing. Add a little cherry juice for added flavor.
