4 medium onions, thinly sliced
3 1/2 c. Beef broth
2 c. Water
1/4 c. Dry red wine
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
6 slices of toasted French bread

Directions:
Directions:
Spray bottom of soup pot with nonstick cooking spray. Add onions & sauté over medium heat until browned, about 12-15 minutes
Add broth, water, wine, & pepper. Mix well & bring to a boil
Reduce heat to low & simmerf or 10 minutes. Stir in cheese & simmer for 5-10 minutes
Ladle into bowls & top with slice of toasted bread
