Two 15 oz cans low sodium black beans (drained) (OR Two 15 oz can chickpeas (drained)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini (order through Amazon- you can omit this if you want)
1 tsp ground cumin
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving
1 tsp kosher salt
Smoked paprika, for sprinkling on top
Pita chips or tortilla chips or crackers to dip with

Directions:
Directions:
ºPut the following ingredients into a food processor: beans (or peas), lemon juice, tahini, cumin and garlic. Pulse or mix until smooth.
º While the motor is running, slowly pour in the olive oil to mix.
º Add the salt and puree until very smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add some water or more olive oil until you get the texture you want.
º To service, transfer the hummus to a bowl and garnish with smoked paprika and serve with veggies or chips for dipping.
º Store leftover hummus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
