2 cups plain flour, sifted
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 heaping Tbsp Crisco
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Cut in the Crisco.
Make a well in center of the flour mixture, pour in buttermilk and mix lightly with a fork.
Place on a floured cloth and knead for about 1 minute.
Roll dough out to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut with a small cutter.
Place 1/2 inch apart on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes.
