4 lbs. medium peaches
1 6-oz jar maraschino cherries
approximately 41/2 cups sugar
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts (or pecans)

Directions:
Wash, halve, and pit peaches; grind all fruits. Measure fruit into kettle; add equal amounts of sugar; stir over low heat to dissolve sugar. Raise heat; boil 20 minutes. Turn off heat and add walnuts. Pour into sterile jars. Seal.
