1 double crust pastry
1 quart canned, fresh or frozen berries
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place dry ingredients in mixing bowl. Add berries and juice. Mix. Pour into pastry lined pan and dot with butter. Cover with pastry and seal edges to prevent leaking. Cut slits in top. Wrap edge of pie with a narrow strip of foil. Bake at 425ºF. for 10 minutes, then at 375ºF. for 45 to 55 minutes. Should be golden brown.
