1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
1 Tbl. whole basil
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lb can tomatoes
2 - 6oz can tomato paste

Filling

10 oz lasagna noodles
2 eggs
3 c. Ricotta cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbls parsley flakes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 lb mozzarella cheese sliced
1 pkg. mozzarella shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat slowly with minced garlic. Spoon off fat. Add basil, oregano, salt, pepper, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes; stirring occasionaly. Cook noodles as directed on package with salt and 1 tbl. oil. Drain and rinse in cold water.

Ricotta filling
Beat eggs, add Ricotta, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and mix well.

Layer noodles in 13x9x2 baking dish. Spread with 1/2 Ricotta filling then 1/2 meat sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese slices. Repeat above and top with layer of noodles and shreaded mozarella. Bake 30 min at 375 º or prepare early - refrigerate then bake 45 min at 375º.
