1/2 c. butter
1-1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs - separated
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
3 bananas - mashed
1 tsp vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts

Icing

2 tbls butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c. confectioner sugar
cream or milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, then milk with baking soda. Mix well. Add flour and baking powder, sift together. Add vanilla, bananas, and nuts. Beat well. Fold in beaten egg white. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake 350º 30-40 min.

Icing

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla, add cream until icing is right consistency to spread.
