Guava Bars Recipe

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
16 oz guava paste, sliced 1/4-inch thick

For the Topping:
1 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup butter, room temp
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350'.
Grease a baking pan with butter.
Cream the butter and sugar together.
Add the salt and flour and combine until the dough comes together.
Press evenly into the pan.
Cover the dough with the guava paste.

For the Topping:
Combine with a fork until the mixture resembles wet sand.

Sprinkle over the pan.
Bake 45 minutes, until the top is golden.
Cool completely before cutting into bars.
