4 c. chicken broth
1 cup of shredded cooked chicken
1/2 c. uncooked extra wide egg noodles
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 medium carrot, sliced
ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Heat broth, black pepper, carrot and celery in medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Add noodles and chicken. Stir. Reduce heat to medium. Cook 10 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring often.

There is nothing better when you are sick than a bowl of chicken noodle soup. You can freeze a batch and pull it out to help those you love feel better I know Mom did!
