1-1/2 lb. Ground beef
1/2 lb. Carrots, peeled and cubed
1 Large onion, peeled and chopped
1 Bouillon cube (recipe does indicate what flavor, but I would use beef)
1 C Boiling water
1 ea. 16 oz. can corn, drained
1 ea. 16 oz. can sweet peas, drained
8 ea, Medium potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed
1 t Salt
Black pepper, thyme, basil and marjoram to taste.

Brown beef quickly in a large skillet. Add carrots and onion, mixing well. Pour in bouillon cube, which has been dissolved in boiling water. Add preferred spices and simmer for 1 hour or until beef is fully cooked and vegetables are tender but not mushy. Add canned vegetables. Mix well and spoon mixture into the bottom of a 10" glass pie plate. Combine potatoes and salt and spread on top o the meat mixture and whip up lightly of score in lines. Bake in 350º oven for 30 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
