28 ounces sauerkraut, undrained
5 or 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
1 cup water
1 pound polish or smoked sausage, cut into large chunks
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 bay leaf
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Place sauerkraut and potatoes in crockpot. Add spices and water. Place sausage on top.

Cook 4 hours on high or about 6 hours on low or until potatoes are done.
