3 large boneless chicken breasts (about 2 lbs), chopped into bite size pieces
2 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon pepper

SAUCE:
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
4 tablespoons soy sauce
4 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
steamed or fried rice for serving

1.Preheat oil in skillet over med. heat, whisk together corn starch, salt, garlic powder & pepper.

2.Add corn starch mixture and chicken in a ziplock bag. Seal & shake to coat.

3.Saute chicken 1 - 2 minutes until browned, then place in greased crockpot.

4.Combine all sauce ingredients in bowl and whisk to combine. Pour over chicken in crockpot.

5.Cook on low for 4 - 5 hours. Serve over rice.
