2 c Sugar
1 c Crisco Shortening
4 Eggs

3 c Sifted All Purpose Flour (sift then measure)
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Baking Soda
1/2 t Baking Powder

1 c Buttermilk
1 t Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, Crisco© and eggs.
Sift and measure flour and add salt, baking soda and baking powder.
Combine buttermilk and vanilla.
Mix creamed mixture alternately with flour mixture and buttermilk.

Bake in Angel Food Pan lined with waxed paper. I use shortening to coat and then dust with flour.

Bake 325º for 45 minutes and then 350º for 15 minutes.
