4 ea. 1 lb. packages wieners
2 ea. Large onions thinly sliced
3/4 C Sugar
2 T Salt
1-1/4 t Coarse black pepper
4-1/2 oz Pepper sauce (Tabasco)
4 C White Vinegar
1 t Pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:
Cut wieners into thirds, combine with onions and set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for about three minutes. Pour over wieners and onions. Put in a large jar with lid and cover tightly. Refrigerate for several days before serving. Will keep in refrigerator for several months.
