1 lb Hamburger
1/2 lb Sausage
1 Onion
1 lg Tomato Juice
1 Cup Minute Rice
1 1/2 Tablespoon Garlic
2 Tsp. Leaf Oregano
1 12 oz package shredded sharp cheese
8 to 10 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
1 can 6 oz Durkee's French Fired Onions

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat and drain, add 1/2 of the tomato juice to meat. Add onion rice and seasonings. Rice will absorb liquid. Heat on medium and stir occasionallly until rice is done. About 15 min.

Steam Cabbage in 2 cups water and drain well when done.

In a 9 X 13 or 4 to 6 qt dish layer starting with cabbage the meat mixture ending with cheese. Pour remaining juice over casserole slowly so it works down through the layers. Top with onion and Bake at 320 for 45 min or until bubbly.
