3 1/2 cups flour
1 large egg
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
1 pkg of yeast (about 2 1/8 tsp. dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water and 1/2 tsp. sugar)
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, sugar; add egg and mix. Add boiling water, salt, and 2 c. of the flour and mix. Add yeast mixture, mix. Add the rest of the flour ( 1 1/2 cup) and let it rise until double. Should resemble warm gum. Punch down slightly, flour as needed on a counter top and knead. Roll out until 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds. Brush lightly with melted butter and fold over and place in 9x13 pan. Bake at 375 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
