8 lb. cucumbers, washed and sliced
2 c. lime
2 gal. water

SYRUP
5 lb. sugar
1/2 gal. vinegar
3 drops green food coloring
2 T. salt
3 T. pickling spice

Directions:
Directions:
Place washed and sliced cucumbers in lime water. Let soak for 24 hours. Wash thoroughly through 6 waters. Pat dry.

Bring to a good rolling boil the ingredients for the syrup. Remove from heat and add cucumbers. Let sit 3 hours. Put back on high heat and cook 30 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
