6 medium pears, peeled and cored
1 (750ml) bottle of sweet white wine
1 vanilla bean, split and seeds scraped
Zest of 2 lemons
8 oz marscarpone cheese, coarsely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat large stockpot on medium-high 2-3 minutes. Place pears, wine, valnilla bean and zest in pot. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cover.
Simmer 20-25 minutes or until pears are tender.

Remove pears; whisk cheese into wine sauce and bring to rolling boil until reduced by about 1/2.

Serve pears with warm sauce.
