2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp soda
3/4 tsp cinnamin
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp margerine or shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st 7 ingredients. In separate bowl, beat margerine 30 seconds, add sugar and beat. Add egg and molasses. Stir dry ingredients into beaten mix. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls and then roll in sugar. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. They will still be puffed. Let stand 2 minutes.
