Meatloaf:
1 c. whole milk
6 slices white bread
2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
3/4 tsp. salt
Ground black pepper, to taste
1/3 c. minced parsley
4 beaten eggs
10 slices thin, regular bacon

Sauce:
1 1/2 c. ketchup
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
Tabasco sauce to taste (you can leave this out if your family does not care for it)

Preheat oven to 350º. Pour milk over bread slices. Let sit for several minutes. Place ground beef, milk-soaked bread, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt, black pepper and parsley in large bowl. Pour in beaten egg. With clean hands, mix the ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a broiler pan, which will allow the fat to drain (line the bottom of the pan with foil for easier clean up). Lay bacon slices over the top, tucking them underneath the meatloaf.

For the sauce, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard and hot sauce. Pour 1/3 of the mixture over the top of the bacon. Spread with a spoon. Bake 45 minutes. Pour another 1/3 of the sauce over the top and bake 15 minutes more. Slice and serve with remaining sauce.
