6 quarts popped corn
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Pop corn and place in greased roaster. Melt butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Stir constantly until it boils. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn. Mix well. Bake at 250º for 45 minutes - stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, break up, and store in covered containers.

To avoid getting kernels into the finished product pour popcorn into a bowl, shake, and use your hands to transfer the popcorn into the roaster. Discard the kernels remaining in the bowl.
