2 Tbsp. bacon grease, oil, or butter (you choose base)
2 Tbsp. flour
1 cup liquid (milk or water)
salt to taste
pepper to taste

Directions:
Melt oil (base), add flour to heated oil. Stir until brown. Add milk or water and boil one minute. If you use butter and milk, it is a lovely white gravy. You can add sausage or dried beef, for variety or use your meat drippings.
