Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
On the Wednesday before Palm Sunday, the Hector United Methodist Women host their annual Salad Luncheon & Boutique. Grandma Olson and Alice helped start this tradition, and Alice has served as Chair of the committee every year since it began in 1971. The line-up of 25 soups and salads varies from year to year, but several recipes have been featured since the first luncheon began. Grandma's Swedish Cranberry salad and the hot German Potato salad have always been crowd pleasers.
