2 cups milk
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk in top of double boiler over hot water on very low heat.
Beat eggs in large bowl until slightly mixed. Add sugar and salt.
Add milk slowly to egg mixture, stirring.
Place egg mixture over hot water. Cook slowly, stirring rapidly until mixture coats a metal spoon lightly and evenly.
Add flavoring to custard, stirring.
Pour immediately into chilled bowls or serving dishes.
