1 pint oysters
6 tbsp. top milk (cream)
salt and pepper
1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs
1/2 cup melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Wash oysters in cool water.
Add cracker crumbs to melted butter and mix well. Cover bottom of buttered baking dish with a thin layer of crumbs, and layer of oysters. Season with salt and pepper, Add one half milk.
Repeat and cover top with remaining crumbs.
Never use more than two layers of oysters because the center layers will not be cooked when the outer layers are done.
Time: 30-45 minutes
Temperature: 425º
