1 pound carrots
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Pare carrots and cut into circles or strips. Cook in boiling salt water until tender. Drain.
Melt butter in saucepan, add sugar and lemon juice.
Simmer until sugar is dissolved.
Add carrots, simmer about 10 minutes, turning often to glaze well.
