1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine, softened
1 tbsp. milk
1 - 2 drops flavoring
coloring

Mix until smooth.
Press into molds.
Refrigerate until firm and remove from mold.

BUTTER MINTS--Mrs. Florence Sue Clark Hobbs & her niece, Mrs. Jill Bowman Stover: Mrs. Jack Hobbs lived on Knob Creek Road at Grassy Valley Road and was the mother of twins, Jackie Hobbs Oliva, and Jimmy Hobbs. Kubalene Jackson Hobbs is her daughter-in-law. Mrs. Jill Bowman Stover lives in the Sweetwater, Tennessee area where she taught school for many years. She is the widow of Bobby Stover, who also belonged to BCCC in his youth. Florence Sue was the aunt of Edward Bowman and Jill is his sister.
