Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
COLORED SUGAR--Mrs. Mary Lou Keefauver: Mary Lou Green Keefauver was an avid worker with children's ministries at the church during the 1950's. The mother of four children herself, I remember her most working with elementary school students in what was called "Christian Endeavor" every Sunday evening. She also brought children to church whose parents were not interested in bringing them. She went on to get an education degree from ETSU and had an outstanding career as a teacher in the Washington County School System winning many awards as an educator.
