2 cups flour
½ cup pecans
¼ cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
3 Tbsp butter
½ cup currants or golden raisins (or ¼ cup of each)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine dry ingredients less raisins in food processor. Cut butter into small pieces and blend into mixture until it resembles crumbs. Add raisins and currants. May be refrigerated for up to a month.
To cook: Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a cookie sheet. In a bowl, beat together ½ cup milk and 1 egg. Combine mixtures. Mix to a soft dough and pat into a 9" circle on cookie sheet. Cut into 8 wedges. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden
