1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt

2. tsp. cream of tarter
1 tablespoon cooking oil
food coloring
May add peppermint, cloves or cinnamon for aroma.

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy saucepan, mix dry ingredients. Add oil, water and food coloring of your choice.

Cook 3 minutes or until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pan.

When cool enough to handle, knead slightly.

Store in an airtight container.
Will keep for 2-3 weeks.

I made play dough for Jill and Richard when they were little so it was always available. It is edible and does not have strange ingredients.
For ornaments, will harden if left in the air or baked slowly in the oven.
