"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Ingredients:

1# frozen cranberries
6-8 good sized apples- do no peel - core & quarter
2 large oranges - rind and all - quartered

2 c. sugar
1/4# miniature marshmellows

Directions:
Directions:
Grind first three ingredients, then add sugar. Set in refrigerator for 1 day.
Then can be put in freezer bags and frozen if desired. I put in several bags so you can take out and serve as wanted.
When you take out of freezer let thaw a little and then add some marshmallows.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
If you use frozen cranberries they seem to be a brighter red when ground and look very pretty.
Also, I just put in the marshmallows before serving, that way they don't get mushy.
Keeps in freezer for months and can be taken out at the last minute for a colorful side dish.
